Crystal Kitchen Center's Staff Seven Step Process

  1. Browse through showroom and portfolio
    a.  
    Meet a designer, discuss preliminary budget and see examples of our work

  2. Design Retainer (generally starting at $1,200) and provides:
    a.    Designer visit your home for a field study, measure and get acquainted.
          1.   Sort out lifestyle needs and share your ideas
          2.   Develop a “wish list” (prioritize)
          3.   Review preliminary budget
    b.   Preliminary plans: review with designer
    c.   Selections:
          1.   Cabinets
          2.   Counter tops
          3.   Appliances
          4.   All other provided materials

  3. Project Devolvement
    a.   Involve Project Manager (Architect or Engineer if necessary, at additional cost)
    b.   Preparing estimates
          1.   Remodeling labor (including: electrical, carpentry, ductwork, plumbing, sheetrock,
                floors and tile)
          2.   Materials (including: cabinetry, counter tops, appliances, tile, hardware and
                plumbing fixtures)

  4. Finalize plans: including floor plan, elevations, mechanical plans, scope of service
    a.   Finalize material selections
    b.   Finalize budget

  5. Final Agreement, contract signed with down payment (50% of contract)
    a.   Materials ordered
    b.   Project schedule is developed
    c.   Permit obtained

  6. Construction
    a.   Communication: pre-production meeting, frequent updates, and written change orders
    b.   On-Site Coordination, scheduling, supervision and technical review
    c.   Worked performed by licensed and insured craftsman
    d.   Willing to work with your builder, architect or designer as part of your team

  7. Post Construction
    a.   Final inspections
    b.   Final punch list reviewed and completed
    c.   Home owner will receive: Lien Waivers, product care and maintenance literature and
          satisfaction survey
    d.   Warranty as necessary and follow up
