CKDs and CBDs - Certified Kitchen Designers (CKDs) and Certified Bathroom Designers (CBDs) are a select group of expert designers who specialize in the design, planning, and execution of kitchens, bathrooms, and other built-in units for your home.

This designation is given to practitioners who, like interior designers, meet core educational requirements, adhere to various regulations in practice, and follow a professional code of ethics. However, the planning of kitchen and bathroom space requires unique design skills and knowledge due to the highly technical nature of the equipment incorporated into them. Unlike interior designers, CKDs/CBDs must prove advanced knowledge of the technical and personal communication skills required to succeed as a design specialist in residential kitchen and bathroom environments.
