Jolynn graduated from Alexandria Technical College with an Interior Design Degree specializing in Kitchen Design. After working at Crystal Kitchen + Bath for 10 years she purchased the company in 1994. She is a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer (CMKBD) and Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS); She also is a licensed contractor in the state of Minnesota.
Jolynn listens to her clients, designing them a unique space that is both functional and beautiful. As Project Manager, she understands technical details and organization, and takes pride in completing all Crystal Kitchen + Bath jobs on schedule. Her client’s designs are enhanced by the practical knowledge gained by her enjoyment of cooking and entertaining.
Jolynn has won numerous design awards and has been published in magazines and newspapers, and interviewed on TV and radio. She has also been a presenter at design seminars and training for national and local events.
Mary Maney, CKD, ASID
Designer & Sales

Mary Maney’s wide range of design experience in Minneapolis and Atlanta gives her a unique perspective to kitchen and bath design. Her attention to detail and her love of tile allows her to provide the little “extra” design element that will make the space unique for each client. Her enthusiasm for cooking and entertaining further enhances her understanding of practical design.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota, a certificate in Kitchen & Bath Design from Century College in St. Paul, Minnesota and has over 19 years of experience in residential and commercial design. She is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). She has been a designer for the ASID Showcase House in 2010, 2012 and 2013 and has won awards for her designs from the Minnesota Chapter of the National Kitchen & Bath Association.

Carol holds an Art History degree from Drake University and studied Interior Design at the University of Minnesota. She has owned and operated a Kitchen and Bath firm in Florida and is active in professional design organizations.
Barbara Bircher, CKD

Barbara’s talents and experience stem from over 29 years in the kitchen and bath industry including several years of working as a cabinetmaker after graduating from Minneapolis Technical Institute for Cabinetmaking. Her technical knowledge and attention to detail is a real asset to her clients. Continuing her education ensures her Certified Kitchen Designer status since 1987.
Barbara works closely with her clients during the entire remodeling process. From the beginning stages of design through the final stage of completion, she will offer the luxury of endless options for a variety of remodeling projects throughout the home. She prides herself in making a homeowner’s remodeling experience a smooth transition.

Chelsey can be described as compassionate, creative and intellectual. Her creativity, talent and passion for design were recognized by customers at her very first job, where she accessorized with home decor. She attended Alexandria Technical & Community College, earning a degree in Interior Design. She was attracted to the specialty of kitchen and bath design, and while in school was awarded 1st place in her class for the NKBA/GE Charlotte competition. Upon graduation, she spent three years at a kitchen and bath design-build firm in Marshall, MN. She became knowledgeable on all aspects of design, including products and functionality. Two years ago, she moved her career to the city to become actively involved in professional design organizations.
Her compassion shows as she asks questions and educates her customers so that they make the right decision regarding their needs. Her designs are one of a kind, always reflecting her customer and making their dreams become a reality. Her ideas and passion go beyond interior design. She takes interest in branding, marketing and social media. In 2015, she was awarded as a “30 Under 30”. The National Kitchen and Bath Association’s program is designed to capture the voice of the next generation of kitchen and bathroom professionals.
