Val Stuessi, CKD, joined CKC in 1986 to design kitchens, baths, family rooms, laundry rooms and home offices. She has won numerous awards for her projects.

A graduate of Kansas State University, she taught foods, housing and family living in secondary schools. She also was a caterer and a consumer home economist. She is a Certified Kitchen Designer and remains active in professional groups, continuing education and women’s food organizations.

“My goal is always to help clients achieve the kitchen that actually enhances their life and the character of their home, whether they like to cook or not!”

Val loves to cook and says, “Cooking for my friends and family is a stress reliever for me. I’m thankful every day to have chosen a career that I love.”
