Traditional Cherry

Spring 2011 Remodelers Showcase

Honorable Mention in the 20011 Local NKBA design contest medium size kitchen

The goal of this kitchen project in Edina’s Country Club neighborhood was to visually enlarge the 1925 era kitchen without adding onto the home. Come see how removing a wall and enlarging a doorway opened up this room! Cherry inset-door cabinets, granite counter tops and a marble tile backsplash are complimented by touches of oil rubbed bronze finishes in the decorative tiles and hardware. Professional grade appliances, including a Wolf microwave drawer, provide the modern culinary features the homeowners requested. Custom cherry cabinets, a hutch designed to house a flat screen TV and a decorative wood hood complete this very custom and authentic design merging old with new.
