Kenwood Contemporary Bathroom

Minneapolis, MN

The bathroom in this 1980’s townhouse was in need of a makeover.

The homeowner wanted to remove the tub & have a shower with a bench seat. It was also decided to add pocket doors between the bathroom & adjoining rooms to create a better use of space in the small bathroom. Storage was a concern, so designer Kaitlyn Stokes chose to add counter cabinets with mirrored fronts to add the necessary storage while making the space appear larger.

The homeowner also had a neck injury that limited movement, so the vanity was raised a few inches to better accommodate their needs. White cabinets from Crystal Cabinet works, Corian Sintered countertops & tile from Rubble Tile create a fresh, contemporary vibe for this bathroom.
